What it is
An AI placement-preparation platform for engineering students.
The problem
Students prepare for campus placements without knowing their weak areas, and get no practice at speaking answers out loud, which is what actually decides interviews.
What I built
- Adaptive quizzing across core subjects
- An AI voice coach running on the Gemini Live API, proxied over WebSockets
- Diagram drawing synced to the coach's audio
Design and engineering decisions
- A WebSocket proxy sits between the browser and the model, so API credentials never reach the client.
- Diagrams are drawn in time with the spoken explanation, because a data structure is hard to follow by ear.
- Voice practice was the core bet, since written practice is everywhere and spoken practice is not.
